Hi! I'm Aymen Tlili, a data engineering college Graduate and an A.I researcher

Take your time browsing through this small assembly of projects and contact me for internship opportunities

About Me

Strengths:

  • Curiousity:

.I enjoy looking up things, reading articles/browsing wikepedia and arXiv and I adore the novelty when exploring new things to the point of being able to explain it atleast to myself.
I honestly believe that the questions I ask are straightforward and I'm not afraid to ask them.the more I know the more humbling being part of it all is !
  • I make mistakes:

I've probably made more mistakes in the last 2 years of my university years than anyone and took on bigger projects despite anxiety and imposter-syndrome until you face the tech stack/applying the theory head on.What I learned is that humans' best learning mechanism is repetition and practice.
  • Teamwork:

I'm not the greatest at working in teams due to lack of experience. Often times,Experimenting with new features isn't my colleagues' cup of tea so I usually work alone but I also believe that the right group of different backgrounds can achieve more than the sum of it's parts.
  • Life-Work seperation:I firmly believe in life and work seperation to avoid burn-out and to have a healthy perspective on life and there's a more elegant solution than the 5 day work week.We may or may not have found that and I leave it to the recruiters company culture to discern what is needed

Weaknesses:
  • Meeting Deadlines:

I try to give things a good estimation of how long they'll take but I always seem to end up short or crippled by anxiety,it's something that I'm working on.
  • Self-Confidence:

While I try to listen to others, I'm aware when hesitation might hinder the accomplishment of a process but this is where I second-guess myself. My journey has been filled with foundations being built up and tore down to only be built up again(which is humbling and makes me less prone to be stubborn and so I try to direct conversations towards asking important questions and focus on finding Answers).
  • Re-iterate My work:

While I always persevere until the end goal ,after faillures,I'm left with the frameworks and experience from trial and error and I try to revisit projects until I reach a satisfactory outcome.

A list of acquired Certificates:

Description:The link above includes certificates relating to Machine learning and AI as well as SQL.
Note:I have yet to pass DELF and TOEIC tests and instead tried free online tests that averaged out to B2 and 955orC1 equivalent respectively and I admit it's not comparable to passing the real test.I hope showcasing the Academic grades related to said Languages (in the Academia Section) is sufficient .

▩ Internships:
3.CRNS: Digital rsearch center of Sfax -:
In this project , we create a dataset of CNN weights that have been trained on MNIST. Leveraging the Transformer architecture we adopt a double input structure with the intent of fusing/merging the knowledge they have about disjoint classes . the purpose to perform regression and give a model working on the aggregation of the mentionned Classes . with Applications in mind , we cite Federated learning and continual Learning as the go-to-benefactors in health, robotics, anomaly detection and even for cybersecurity and differential privacy in general .
Beyond how this can change the world of the use of A.I , it can also contribute to making it more interpretable as we can better understand the contribution of each neurone and even quantify what the presence of a certain class does with others .we strive to reduce training time and architecture parameter number for CNNs and later on extend it to even differting architectures and/or datasets

   2.Industry 4.0 startup -:
implemented a paper for depth estimation on monocular images on a naval merchant ships Dataset for coastline jurisdiction prediction

   1.Datacamp Training and Consulting-Sfax-:
The project was to make a chess engine , a software utilizing several heuristics to circumvent the absurd number of positions and actions in a game .
I was able to learn the basics of designing, conceptualizing the system architecture and implementing the system in a pseudo-production environment.
The next step is to implement a Reinforcement learning agent once the environment is properly configured and parameterized .

I graduated from Gafsa's Pioneering High School then opted for the Institute for Pre-Engineering Studies of Monastir (IPEIM, Monastir-Tunisia ) where we covered Functional and Real Analysis as well as Physics,Linear algebra & probability/topological intros and picked up Python as my second programming Language (my first was Pascal at the time).
